Treble Makers Quartet

Treble Makers have a new line up, welcoming Lead Ashley Port and Baritone Ainslie Fraser to the foursome, replacing Jolanda Rotteveel and Roz Beste. Along with original members Kylie and Geesje, Ashley and Ainslie are members of Northern Beaches Chorus.

In May 2017 they won the Invitation category for female quartets of Barbershop Harmony Australia’s Eastern Region competition in Sydney. They competed in the 2017 Sweet Adelines International regional Quartet Contest in Perth, Western Australia, placing 11th.

In the former line-up, Treble Makers competed in the 2015 Sweet Adelines International Region 34 Quartet Contest on May 15 at Wrest Point Casino, Hobart, placing 9th nationally and received the Wendy Middleton Award for Most Improved Quartet of the contest. Originally known as Making Treble, it was the quartet’s 5th contest appearance.

In October, 2014 the girls entertained the audience at the Embrace Life, Live Life women’s health and wellbeing festival at Harbord Diggers Club. In December, they added festive sparkle to a Christmas shopping evening at Alfresco Emporium in Collaroy. March 2015 saw them on stage at Glen Street Theatre, Belrose in Champagne & Roses.
